Established in 2013
The Zebra's Head House Of Glass was previously The Dragon's Breath and then Big Mike's House Of Glass until Texas' Original Head Shop from Denton; The Zebra's Head bought out Big Mike's House Of Glass in 2013 to continue the legacy of this location and to continue the legacy of The Zebra's Head in North Texas.
The Zebra's Head started out over 20 years ago at our first location in Denton, Tx. The shop, located at 113 Fry Street, has seen Denton through many changes as it was first opened in 1966 as "Birmingham Balloon Company," the first headshop ever in Texas (and third in the United Stated.) The term "headshop" had not really been coined yet then and as the shop's slogan on the building was "things for the head" it's a bit of speculative lore around the shop that the term "headshop" was even coined at our cherished original location. After a few years the shop changed hands and became "Texas' Original Headshop" which is why we to this day consider ourselves Texas' Original Headshop.

My connection to the Zebra's Head go back to UNT Denton days. When I discovered there was a location in Lewisville, I had to go check it out. They have consistently listened to me in what I'm looking for and have always provided the best suggestions. Then, when I go back, they want to hear MY opinions so they can compile customer opinions on various products to pass on to others. I find the pricing reasonable. In fact, this past week, I was delighted to find the price on what I purchase had gone down! Friendly staff, great product, welcoming environment. I really don't know what else we could ask for -- except maybe some modern legislation in Texas!
