Had mediocre service from this place in the past. Just had a run-in with the woman who claims to be the manager, and she flipped her lid because I disagreed about the ID check laws. Turns out though this is a convenience store, they are registered as a tobacco specialty store, which does require a scan every time. Fault is still with her because instead of just saying it's a tobacco specialty store, she immediately got heated because I disagreed, lost her mind, launched into a crazy rant about someone "telling her how to do her job," and made a questionable claim about being fined $5000 just last week (I sincerely doubt she'd be working there if she had caused a $5000 fine). All she has to do is say "we're a specialty tobacco retailer and after July 1 2020, we are required to electronically scan every time" but instead, she chose hysterics and turning a disagreement into an argument. Maybe hire more mature people who actually read the laws they claim to know? From the look of these reviews, the owner is hiring from the bottom of the barrel.
